Youth NFL Flag Football

In Spring 2025, the Pennridge Greenjackets are delighted to present our 4th season of Youth NFL Flag Football. Youth NFL Flag Football is the official flag football program of by the NFL and is for boys aged 4-15 and girls aged 4-18. Youth NFL Flag Football offers an opportunity for children to enjoy playing the game, all while learning valuable lessons such as sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and commitment. This season, we're introducing a Challengers league, welcoming individuals with physical or intellectual challenges to participate.

Distinguishing itself from our fall program, this flag football initiative eliminates the need for travel, with all games taking place at our field in Perkasie. Each team is designated with actual NFL team names, and every player receives a reversible jersey adorned with the team logo. Join us for a season of fun, growth, and camaraderie!

This year will be our first year offering a girls only league!

Available Programs

5U – Ages 4 & 5 - Developmental
7U – Ages 7, 6 and experienced 5 year olds
9U – Ages 9, 8 and experienced 7 year olds
11U – Ages 11, 10 and experienced 9 year olds
13U – Ages 13, 12 and experienced 11 year olds
15U – Ages 15, 14 and experienced 13 year olds
Females only 18U– Ages 18, 17 and 16 year olds
A player’s age is determined by what age they are on August 1st.

Season

Season Starts: Sunday April 6
Season Ends: Sunday June 8

Practice

Coaches will determine practice time for their specific team. A typical practice will be 1-2 days per week, 60-90 mins per practice.

Teams

8 players per team.
Limited to 8 players to maximize playing time.
"Neighborhood Teams" are welcome. Feel free to recruit 8 players and put together a team of friends and family. Kids from Quakertown, Souderton, Lenape Valley and other surrounding areas are welcome to play.

Games

Played every Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm
45 Minutes – two 20 minute halves, 5 minute half time
Played 5 vs 5 at a time (QB, Center, 3 RB/WR)
Non-Contact, no blocking or tackling
Played on our practice field located in the back of Markey Park in Perkasie
Played on a smaller field than the traditional football field
