The Pennridge Greenjackets offers several age-based cheerleading programs. The cheerleaders will have fun cheering for the youth football teams, and competing in cheer competitions. This is a great opportunity for cheerleaders of all ages to learn teamwork; all while improving their stunts, cheers and tumbling skills in a fun setting.
The Pennridge Greenjackets offers the following cheer programs:
Non-Competitive Teams: Football Cheer and Exhibition
Jr Tiny Mite: Ages 3, 4 & 5
Challenger: Ages 5 to 18 with physical or mental disabilities who are currently enrolled in school. For more info on the Challenger program, click here.
Competitive Teams: Football Cheer and various competitions
Tiny Mites: Ages 5, 6, & 7
Mighty Mites: Ages 6, 7, 8 & 9
Jr. Pee Wee: Ages 8, 9, 10 & 11
Pee Wee: Ages 9, 10, 11 & 12
Jr Varsity: Ages 10, 11, 12 & 13
A cheerleader's age is determined by whatever age they are on July 31 of that year.
If you are unsure what division your child belongs simply take your best guess. Our coaches will evaluate every cheerleader to ensure they are assigned to the proper division.
