Interested in volunteering to be a Pennridge Greenjackets Head Coach, Assistant Coach or Team Parent? To comply with PA state regulations, as well as Pop Warner and Bux-Mont policies, you must submit the following
Coaches/Assistant Coaches must complete steps 1-4. Team Parent must complete steps 1-3.
Clearances
1. PA State Police Criminal History Background Check - Request this online through PATCH (Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History). You will need to create an account by following the instructions on the website. The Criminal History Record Certificate is valid for 12 months.
2. PA Department of Human Services Child Abuse History - You will need to create an account on the state’s Compass system by following the instructions on the website. The Child Abuse History Certificate is valid for 3 years.
3. If you have lived continuously in PA for the past 10 years, download the Bux-Mont Volunteer Affidavit. Complete this form, including your current address on the first page and signatures on the second page (the witness signature does NOT have to be a notary, and the form does NOT have to be notarized).
If you have NOT lived continuously in PA for the past 10 years, you will need to request a Federal Criminal History Record, which is a fingerprinting process. Register for an account online at the link provided, complete the required information, and you will be able to go to a fingerprinting location to be fingerprinted.
4. USA Football Heads Up Certification (Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches Only) - Every coach (anyone involved in football instruction) will need to be USA Football Heads Up Certified. This is a yearly requirement. There is a cost associated with this certification. However, we can provide a code that will cover the cost. To receive this code please contact us.
Once completed either email or hand your full packet of printed clearances/certifications to your head coach or assigned team contact prior to the first day of camp. For liability and safety concerns, all forms must be handed in before you are eligible to coach or volunteer. Ensure you keep a copy of all paperwork for your records.
